Mrs Durand, the Healthcare Manager, has assigned sophie to supervise Myriam, a first year student nurse. Myriam is in her second clinical placement, half-way through her training course. There's no ward manager in the medical ward at present, so Sophie acquaints herself with the new nursing programme and tries to do her best as a mentor.
